Movecat has introduced the only integrated load-measuring system on the market for combined single and dual fall chain hoist operation that does not involve sacrificing installation height; it is called the LME-DUO. The system is fully compatible with the LMS and MPC I series as well as the LoCo R3 receiver from Movecat.
The LME-DUO system is implemented as a suspension eyelet and can be exchanged directly with the standard component of an electric chain hoist. The unique feature here is that the system can be used for both single and dual chain fall operation; all that needs to be done is for the mounting position to be changed; no further parts or adjustments are necessary.
The LME-DUO boasts a series of other unusual features. The load-measuring system is completely maintenance free, for instance, and equipped with a function testing system that in combination with Movecat controllers monitors the functioning of the system in operation independently of the suspended load. The safety factor of the system is 5:1 and a secondary safety component is also integrated. The precise sensor elements combined with a high-resolution digital amplifier make a resolution of < 1% of full scale and use in the all-round cast installation form in temperatures ranging from -10° to +60° C possible.
The LME-DUO systems are currently available for the Movecat B4 and B6 series with loads from 250 to 2,000 kg. It is planned to extend the range to cater for additional series.
