With a service offensive, Movecat is consolidating the excellent range of services it offers customers. Among the new measures is an Internet forum to encourage users and operators to communicate with one another. „The objective,“ says Movecat CEO Andrew Abele, „is to allow an exchange of experiences to develop and for best practices to be shared.“
Movecat’s ongoing support for the forum will include plying it with up-to-date information. This will involve the publication of product information and the detailed description of applications as well as technical specifications and operating manuals. It will also be possible to download such information. Further online resources will include sales and marketing materials for partners and distributors.
A quite different need is being met by Movecat’s TKS Project Support. TKS stands for Turn Key Solution, the support in question comprehending application- and function-optimized project solutions from Movecat backed up by a 24/7/365 hotline and a 24-hour spare parts service.
Movecat’s TKS Project Support includes support with the design, risk assessment, planning and tendering for projects involving kinetic systems as well as the comprehensive assessment of applications, safety and handling. Furthermore, Movecat offers the development of customized solutions including project-specific production as well as support with installation, commissioning and handover inspection. Rounding off the portfolio are preliminary instruction and training as well as maintenance and testing.
