During the Opening Ceremony of the world’s largest industrial trade fair, the Hannover Messe, Nocturne Drones proudly unveiled its latest innovation: the Flying Screens. These specially developed video drones impressed the audience in a breathtaking performance, which was presented in cooperation with Hannover Messe and the agency insglück. Together with dancer Aischa Dawn Ibrahim, the Flying Screens were the highlight of the opening production.
„The use of this new technology, the intuitive interaction of the dancer with the drones, the complex choreography and the specially produced music all unfolded their very own fascination and appeal,“ summarised the concept team Rebecca Hutter and Damián Barnett from insglück.
The use of industrial drones of this size at an indoor event placed high safety demands, which required intensive coordination – not only between the different trades, but especially with the public safety authorities.
„With Flying Screens, we are once again setting a creative benchmark for drone shows,“ comments Jens Hillenkötter, CEO of Nocturne Drones. „A big thank you goes to our special units Nocturne Drone Shows and Nocturne Special Projects as well as their engineers and software developers who developed and realised the system. Once again, this demonstrates our outstanding drone competence in the entertainment sector.“
The Flying Screens are equally suitable for indoor and outdoor shows and are now available from Nocturne Drones. Nocturne Drones continues to focus on innovation and creativity to push the boundaries of drone technology in entertainment. The unveiling of the Flying Screens at Hannover Messe marks another milestone in this mission and points to an exciting future for drone shows.
