Capital increase drives further expansion
The Japanese Hibino Corporation has acquired additional shares in the media service provider AV-X GmbH via its European subsidiary in Amsterdam and has simultaneously increased the share capital of the Hamburg-based company from 270,000 euros to 500,000 euros. The capital inflow is primarily intended to bolster the company’s competitiveness in the global events industry. In parallel, AV-X GmbH will become a subsidiary of Hibino Corporation and will operate under the name Hibino Deutschland GmbH as of April 1, 2022. Hibino has been a shareholder in AV-X since 2017 and also has provided equipment and engineering for AV-X’s global projects
Hibino Germany, Hibino Asia, JP China and Hibino USA will form the core brand Hibino, which will guarantee consistent service and cost-efficient structures for the worldwide support of renowned customers such as Mercedes-Benz, Liebherr and Volkswagen.
The Managing Director at Hibino Deutschland will remain Denis Papin, who founded AV-X in June 2017 and has accumulated decades of experience in video and broadcast for events and installations. „After two years of the Corona pandemic, we are sure that the demand for live events will increase dramatically. We are preparing for this with this restructuring and with investments in the latest innovations in LED, media servers and broadcast technologies,“ explains Hibino Deutschland Managing Director Denis Papin.
Hibino Corporation describes itself as a „Presenter of Sound and Visual“ and offers products and services for events and media installation, including trade fairs and product presentations in the automotive sector. With the increased commitment to AV-X and Hibino Deutschland, the company intends to further expand its global presence with a focus on the four regions in Japan, Asia, North America and Europe.
