With his experience and expertise, Stephan Geidel (31) brings considerable assets to his new position in ChainMaster of Eilenburg’s Sales team. He will also be taking on additional tasks in design and the development of controllers for special applications.
The IT electronics technician started out with ChainMaster as a production assistant before entering the University of Applied Sciences in Leipzig in 2005 to read Industrial Engineering, where he specialized in electrical engineering. During his time at the university, Stephan continued to carry out numerous assignments, and participate in a variety of projects, for the company – accompanying, among other things, the development and implementation of the world’s largest rigging control system for the Qatar National Convention Center. He also gained a wide range of experience in the implementation diverse projects and installations, and the provision of technical support.
Having completed his studies, Stephan is now switching his attention to Sales, where with his technical background he will further strengthen and consolidate the worldwide presence of the company. With Stephan Geidel’s support, ChainMaster will be able in the future to respond with still greater flexibility to the demands of customers and provide even more intensive, customer-oriented support to projects.
Stephan Geidel will also be sharing his experience and expertise with customers through the chain-hoist training courses organized by ChainMaster. Every year at the company headquarters in Eilenburg, numerous training courses are offered in both German and English. From these, participants are able to acquire extensive technical knowledge concerning the deployment and use, as well as the operating conditions, of electric chain hoists and their controllers, in accordance with standards ranging from BGV D8 / D8Plus to BGV C1. Stephan Geidel is now responsible for the organization and implementation of these week-long training courses.
