Movecat presents the 3rd generation of its EXPERT-T I-Motion controller

Movecat_Expert-T-III_webAt this year’s Prolight + Sound trade fair in Frankfurt, Movecat presented an extensive array of new products. These included the I-Motion controller EXPERT-T III, the third generation of its network controller for the systematic control of kinetic drives in accordance with D8, D8 Plus and C1, which has proved successful worldwide and is especially recommended for complex kinetic projects. With the EXPERT-T III I-Motion controller, it is possible to integrate, monitor and control up to 240 fixed- or variable-speed drives in a single network.

This latest version is equipped with a 24″ display that is legible in daylight and suitable for outdoor use as well as a scratchproof PCAP multi-touch panel, which is the same size; this, too, is suitable for outdoor use and insensitive to both temperature and humidity. A high-performance CPU provides the requisite processing power, supporting both 3D object programming and a 2D and 3D WYSIWYG display. The dual channel implementation of the joystick processors is in accordance with SIL3 and this, combined with the expanded, backlit input keyboard with tactile feedback, the multifunctional control knob and the trackball located directly on the front panel, make for intuitive operation. The show-based programming and recall mode has also been optimized.

As was the case with its predecessor, the EXPERT-T III I-Motion controller supports the inclusion of existing drives and other items of stage machinery in an integrated network.
