Melle, January 2025 – On December 28, 2024, PENNY presented an innovative marketing stunt with a breathtaking drone show above the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne to promote its new discount campaign and the PENNY app. In collaboration with Nocturne Drones, a giant QR code was drawn in the night sky, allowing passers-by to go directly to the app store.

A total of 400 drones were used, transforming the night sky above the Tanzbrunnen into a floating advertising message. Nocturne Drones’ specialized unit “Security & Defense” ensured the security of the airspace to guarantee a smooth operation.
With this unique campaign, PENNY once again demonstrated how innovative and creative modern technology can be integrated into brand communications.
